Margaret Russell: ED to AD
Margaret Russell was the Editor-in-Chief of Elle Decor for ten years, and during this time she elevated the magazine to be one of the most respected and well-read shelter magazines available. This past fall she was named to be Paige Rense Nolands successor as Editor-in-Chief of Architectural Digest, and her first issue is on news stands now.

I look forward to seeing the cover evolve too.

In her Editors Page letter she refers to Paige Rense Nolands thirty-five year career at AD and writes, That extraordinary legacy has given my staff and me so much to think about as we take AD to the next level. I believe all those interested in worldly architecture and interior design will be watching to see what Margaret Russell will do with the magazine. I know I will be, and it will be nothing short of fabulous.
